if we could all share our viewpoints every now and then…
…think of all the points of view we would be able to see.
when i walk down a street, i consistently
look up and down and sideways and all around.
and lately, strangers have stopped to ask what the heck i am doing.

excuse me, ma’am. you’re bent all backwards and over with that zoom. i have to ask. what are you trying to snap with that picture?
oh, you know. just the clouds with that steeple. i’ve never looked up and seen that steeple before. would you like to see.
yes, yes i would. i thought you were either a crazy- just taking a pic of the nothingness. or you saw something that i didn’t.
oh, that would be silly. if i was taking a pic of the nothingness, i mean. but look at that steeple! would you like to see what i see?

and then mario graduated from running club. there was an awards ceremony and everything.

one night, riding bianco the bicycle home from work. along the east river.

a filming of sesame street in alphabet city. such a childhood dream.

my favorite muffins with my favorite daniel. at the essex street market. it’s a routine.

the dave matthews band. live at rockefeller center.

my daily double dose of twins.

graffiti on the lower east side. this project took a few weeks to complete. i think it turned out nice.

the temperature inside our apartment8. due to the pizzaria that moved in beneath us.
we had to wear shoes at all times. but it’s all remedied now. thank the goodness.

union square. a bus driver practicing his trumpet on his empty bus. during his break.

sheep’s meadow, central park. playing a new game. involving a paddle and a ball.

kenny carries cocoa [his pet iguana] everywhere.

the boat basin, hudson river. it was shellie’s first weekend as a new yorker.

random restaurant on the lower east side. a gathering of local fiddle-type musicians.
there is no rehearsed music. they meet once a week, and fiddle around together.

a typical weekend morning. dancing on my bed with elly. she has some new dance moves.

did i mention. that kenny carries cocoa [his pet iguana] everywhere?
