fields of love. [reflections on communism, introduction]

i recently traveled
to a communist island country.
[also referred to as socialist]

with two of my favorite hearts,
elly & nana.

they are super creative and artsy.

we were launching the third project for 100c.

and i have so many thoughts.

now, since these thoughts solely reflect my personal views
[and not necessarily those of 100c or our partner organization]

i will refrain from writing any specific details
such as location, partner names, and relationships.

[which works well. i tend to like using nicknames, anyway]

because every view that i express out & loud on the internet
is able to be traced by the government. and could quite possibly
negatively affect our sweet relationships on the island.

and well, i just cannot commit
these thoughts to be neutral expressions.

so, moving right along.
now that all disclaimer thoughts are aside,
i will launch the series tomorrow.

but first, here’s a little
pre-trip outlook adjustment for you.

en route to miami.
before the connecting flight to the island of corona.
[referring to our weather conditions at destination]

the skies are partly clear.
i really don’t know why the skies
are always referred to as partly cloudy.

that just seems to be so backwards.
because what about all the clear!
